What's included
Everything from light regrowth to thick, tangled understory taken back to open ground.
Cedar, elm, locust and volunteer growth removed to whatever diameter the job calls for.
Where you need buildable or mowable ground, stumps and root balls come out, not shaved off at grade.
Mulched in place, or gathered and dealt with. No burn piles left smouldering behind us.
Ground left even and workable so it can be mowed, fenced, built on or seeded.
Overgrown fence runs opened back up and a clean way in for equipment, so the rest of the work can happen.
Choose the right method
The growth is ground down where it stands and left on the ground as mulch. One pass, no hauling, no burning, nothing trucked off the property. Stumps are cut low and left in the ground.
Right for: pasture reclamation, hunting land, trails and lanes, fence lines, wooded acreage you want walkable and open, erosion-prone slopes.
What you get: open ground with a mulch layer over it. Not bare dirt.
Growth is removed and the stumps and root balls are dug out with an excavator, then the ground is graded. It's slower and it costs more, because it's a different job.
Right for: building pads, driveways, ponds, anywhere a footing, slab or utility trench is going in, and ground you intend to mow tight.
What you get: clean, workable dirt at grade.
We do both, and we'll tell you which one your project needs before you spend money. If someone quotes you bare dirt at a mulching price, one of those two things isn't happening.
Typical jobs
Home site prep. Opening a building envelope, driveway and yard out of a wooded tract, with stumps out and ground graded ready for the pad.
Pasture reclamation. Fields lost to cedar and brush over ten or twenty years, brought back to grazeable, mowable ground.
Overgrown acreage. Land you can't currently walk across, opened up so you can see the property lines and use it.
Resale prep. Cleared land shows better, photographs better and sells faster than a tract a buyer can't walk.
Scale and schedule
We work anything from a half-acre lot up to 20+ acre tracts. How fast it goes depends on density and terrain far more than raw acreage: light regrowth moves quickly, heavy cedar and mature timber take considerably longer per acre.
We'll walk the property with you and give you a specific number of days with your estimate, not a vague window.

Parker came out and we discussed what would work for us and he leveled an area making a pad on our land, they also mulched another area where we needed the trees cleared from. They are very professional and I would recommend them for any excavation or mulching that you may need.
